Owner: The Giving Cabin

This design was a collaboration with the Owner to redesign their rental cabin basement. The design added over 800 sf which included a bedroom, living room, storage and large bathroom. But the two most rewarding aspects to this project were redesigning the existing stairs (which were terribly dangerous and not code-compliant) and adding support for an existing under-designed beam which had left the floor above sagging about 2″. The Owner had great taste and invested in quality materials to make this a very valuable addition to their cabin.
