Rosser Design Studio was commissioned along with interior designer, Deb Presson of Presson Interior Design to design a dramatic renovation to an existing house in West Knoxville.
The existing brick house has a great corner location and street presence but was dated with its aesthetics. The renovation design includes completely upgrading the exterior with new windows, painted brick and a new front portico. Also included is an exterior sunroom and deck which engages the back yard pool. Inside will see a complete transformation with newly painted walls, refinished floors, new kitchen and bathrooms and a complete overhaul of the living area after demolishing two load bearing walls.
While all renovations aren’t this dramatic I am freshly reminded that with a little forethought, a little planning, and a little dreaming any house can become a rich habitation – new construction isn’t’ always the way to go.
